What Pier shows with supplier data
- Named source
- Each result identifies the supplier that returned or owns the offer.
- Check time
- The latest successful check is shown in a clear time zone or relative time.
- Price basis
- A party total, per-person, group, or schedule starting price is labelled as such.
- Failure state
- Missing, partial, stale, or unavailable data is not silently replaced with an older value.
Included in comparison
Approved suppliers that return the requested product and enough matching conditions for a fair comparison.
Not presented as comparable
Unapproved sources, incompatible options, unsupported markets, incomplete totals, or results too old for the current request.
Price labels stay specific
The price basis determines what Pier can truthfully compare.
Exact or clearly matched total
- Selected date and party
- Known quantity and option
- Original currency beside display currency
Not an exact total
- From price
- Schedule minimum
- Total excluding a required on-site charge
Original and display currencies
Pier keeps the supplier's original currency. A display-currency conversion is a convenience and does not replace the supplier's checkout currency or rate.
Dates use destination time
Product dates and entry times follow the destination time zone. A future account email schedule will follow the user's chosen time zone and state it clearly.
Availability can change
A result records what the approved supplier returned at the shown check time. The supplier confirms current inventory, option, and final total before payment.
Questions and corrections
If a source, condition, price label, or time looks wrong, send the Pier page address and supplier name through Contact. Pier does not need payment details to investigate.
